TI9 Dota 2 Days 4 updates, Ninjas in Pyjamas Eliminated

DOTA TI9: With 18 teams from across the world currently gathered in Shanghai to compete for the biggest prize of all Esports history, all eyes are on this grand dame of esports events.

TI9: Group Stage Day 4 Results

It was the last day of the group stage on Sunday (18 August). Malaysia-based team Fnatic started the day with a 0-2 loss against Chinese team Royal Never Give Up.

TNC subsequently beat TI7 champions – Europe-based team Liquid – 2-0 while Malaysia-based team Mineski drew 1-1 with North American representative Newbee.

Fnatic ended their last series of the day with a 0-2 loss against CIS team Virtus.pro.

With these games, all three Southeast Asia teams have managed to make it to the main stage of The International 9.

Second team to crash out of TI9

With a 0-2 loss against North America-based team Evil Genuises in their last series of the day, Europe-based team Ninjas in Pyjamas has unfortunately ended their run in TI9.

Like Chaos Esport Club, Ninjas in Pyjamas will not be playing on the main stage.

With the two teams eliminated and the group standings determined, the draws for the brackets were finalised.
