Snail (Oc) in Saigon is kind of street food with strong Saigonese style

One of the most specific food here is Oc – which be called Snails in English.

There is one restaurant named “Mam Sua” in Bui Huu Nghia Street, Binh Thanh Dist – which just 4km away from the city centre I would like to introduce to you.

Oc Mam Sua is a specific restaurant that only open from 3pm from Monday to Saturday.

But if you come after 7.30pm, there is not much choices left because all the dishes are almost be served.

Grilled scallops with salt and chilli

There is no menu for this street restaurant, once you don’t know the name of the food, just try some from the other tables.- JUSTPLAY18

The price is very reasonable from 25.000 – 30.000Vnd.

One of the most interesting snails here is named Scallops fried quail egg.

I can not find the second restaurant which serve this food .

Scallops are removed from the shell with quail egg fried, delicious food, just very nice.

Grilled oysters with onion

The second special dishes are prepared from milk sauce, garlic juice, fish sauce and chili beam, known as the name of the restaurant is just as milk sauce-“Mam Sua”.

This sauce is used for all the dishes in the restaurant.

I also love ocean scallops grilled cheese, baked oysters with onion oil, Thai steamed clams, and fried snails with spinach.

All the dishes are very tasty and delicious, and Saigonese is very welcome you to come and try our style.”
