Team Laser Kittenz
Team Laser Kittenz has picked up two new Overwatch players who are mired in controversy.
Yesterday, Lee “Claris” Keon-Ho and Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-Beom were dropped from Lunatic Hai after joining for a brief duration of three days.
Both had came under heavy fire from the Overwatch community,
with Claris being accused of using cheating software, being boosted, and unsportsmanlike conduct.
While Claris himself has repeatedly claimed his innocence of these accusations, he did state he would be stepping down from professional eSports for a while.
Munchkin, on the other hand, was accused of owned a separate account that does not properly represent his team’s brand, as the account was registered under the name of a coach from Munchkin’s previous team,
Rhinos Gaming.
But thankfully for both players, barely 24 hours after Lunatic Hai had made the announcement of their departure on Reddit, Laser Kittenz tweeted a separate announcement saying that they have brought in the duo.
Laser has not announced the intentions behind their controversial new signings as of yet.
The new Laser Kittenz roster now looks thus:
- Finley “Kyb” Adisi (DPS)
- Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-Beom (DPS)
- Luis “Greyy” Perestrelo (Support)
- Ivo “Linepro” Krasimirov (Support)
- Carl “crems” Aspehult (Flex)
- Lee “clasis” Keon-Ho (Flex)
- Nicholas “skipjack” Rosada (Tank/loan)
